What Syrian refugees can learn from Poland

Friday September 1, 1939 Poland was invaded by the German Army.
Instead of fleeing like rats from a sinking ship the Polish youth volunteered en-mass to join the Free Polish Army while their leaders quickly set up a Government in exile, first in Paris then in London.
From here the Free Polish Army made a significant contribution to liberating occupied Europe and also their motherland.

Exactly the opposite has happened in Syria.
All youths of fighting age have abandoned family, wives and children to seek “refuge” in Europe.
Since 2012 Haytham al-Maleh self-proclaimed leader of the Syrian opposition has tried unsuccessfully to set up a Government in Exile. Nobody is even thinking of setting up an Army in Exile to fight for the liberation of their country.

Why?

Pertinent questions are generally ignored by politicians because they have a horrid tendency to inject reality into their smoke and mirror acts. The way I see it, the American politicians, under the influence of Trouble Makers for Profit Inc., have led their western lackeys to join in the “let’s oust Assad for no reason orgy”. Since it is a classic American style orgy, nobody knows who is fucking who and the participants, all dazed and drugged by the Opium of conflict, end up fucking themselves while the Allahrists look on in baffled amazement.

The Syrian youth of fighting age are torn between three evils; join the orgy, join the Cali-fate or join the “iPhone and Mercedes Benz paid for by the European government” brotherhood.

A certain five days in June 1967 proved that even trained Syrian soldiers have no stomach for fighting so they are left with only two options; blowing themselves up in Europe in their quest for a night with seventy virgins or to skip across to Germany and join the greed society.

Neither of these options includes defending their fatherland.
And even if they did, who would lead them?
Their commanders have all eloped with Swedish maidens so no luck there. Americans are averse to looking their enemy in the eye so they will not lead the charge. France would rather send its troops to fight the Al-Qaeda bogeyman in the deserts of Africa rather than fight a real war. And the EU would rather send packets of Band-Aid and cluster bomb public latrines disguised as training camps.

So why, in face of such adversity, persist in promoting the establishment of a Free Syria Army?
Because Europe, that is the people of Europe and not the Politicians, don’t want the take-all-give-nothing freeloaders and because the west is not making any progress in its “war” against ISIS and is nowhere near ousting Assad.

The question remains. How do you get a Syrian youth out of his shinny Merc and into a uniform?
The Arabic culture respects force so one way would be to force them to fight. But that would not be “politically correct”. We could offer to ship their Merc’s to Syria. But that would be too expensive because after spending everything on bombing trips to Syria and on welcoming the “refugees” Europe is broke. We could try patriotism. But the only country your average Syrian Youth can find on a map is Germany.
So, realistically, there is no way we will get them to fight for their country because unlike Polish youths of 1936, Syrian youth are cowards who would rather leach off others than stand up for themselves, their families, their wives or their children.

Polish youths loved their country and their culture enough to die for, while Syrian youths would rather die for an iPhone and Social Security.
