Some words of wisdom from Claude in the run-up to the elections:

To pretend that our system has successfully prevailed is a delusion. Government only governs the flow of money and not the people who produce it.
Higher education is an oxymoron, health care another.
Media twists the truth to become whatever their masters want it to be.

We have become a society of unkind self-obsessed people where the distressed are more likely to be the star in a YouTube video posted to Facebook than to be assisted.
Everyone only looks out for themselves and empathy has died.

We are not a highly-evolved society but slaves to a master no different than those that governed in the middle-ages. And we have been brainwashed by media, entertainment and technology to an extent of being more ignorant than the average serf of yore.
We have created a system that makes leaders out of Idiots on a consistent basis and then occupies our time with telling us how great the current Idiot is until the next Idiot comes along.
Oh, when will we ever learn?

Claude’s lumpenprole theory:  By aspiring to create equality in a world populated by borderline retards, the politico-sentimentalists are creating a society where cognitive activity (already on the endangered list) will capitulate to techno-narcissism, whereby all intellectual awareness gets channeled into fantasy and effectively transforming society into lumpenproles.

You cannot give unconditional love to someone who hates themselves.

Manhood is like pornography, you can’t define it but you know it when you see it.

A woman’s wealth is her beauty, a man’s beauty his wealth…

If my commentary is sometimes acerbic, it's because tempered persuasion is effete, and considered argument tiresome. It is something one learns with years.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes destiny.

Politicians are just not qualified to do the job.

The only thing more lurid, sensationalist, deceitful and credulous than the mainstream media is the world wide web.

We don't need political change, we need a political PURGE.

Mainstream madia spewing politico-sentimentality and other bullshittery deemed it indecent to call “illegal” immigrants what they are.

We are now joyfully living in a mediacracy, sorry madiacracy.

They still wander in the darkness of egalitarianism .....

Thus normal xenophobia is replaced by xenophillia.

Futile trying to be reasonable with unreasonable people.

Sentimentalists will have to step aside. History is not a bedtime story about bunnies and kittens.

Political correctness is an intellectual disease that is making it impossible for even educated people to think clearly - especially people who affect to be political leaders.

Things that can’t go on, go on until they can’t.

Criticality eventually surprises credulity.

Instead of a revolution, they’re having a suicide party.

It is in the nature of criticality that things change real fast.

The wish to believe over-rides the reality.

What happens when the stories lose their power to levitate the legitimacy of the people who tell them?

Just because the money might not be there doesn’t mean the desire won’t be.

I think that getting the Islamic world’s mind off of religion and back onto science, math, and engineering would be a good idea.

Realizing that the wish to believe overrides reality, Claude Quixote will humbly refrain from further encounters with windmills.

At the centre of the economic growth question is credit. Without continued growth, credit can’t be repaid, and new credit cannot be issued honestly — that is, with reasonable assurance of repayment — making it worthless. So, old debt goes bad and the new debt is generated knowing that it is worthless. To complicate matters, the new worthless debt is issued to pay the interest on the old debt, to maintain the pretence that it is not going bad.
File under complete fucking nonsense.

The central collapse theory of Joseph Tainter states that heaping additional complexity on dysfunctional hyper-complex societies tends to induce their collapse.

The Russians will relinquish control of the trans-Ukraine gas pipelines as soon as John Kerry learns to flatulate in iambic pentameter.

Libertarianism is an extremist cult just like progressivism.

Give them the guillotine. Sell them the blades.

Many times my words are like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. But I will be hated for my lucid observations.

There is a difference between being educated and graduating from obedience school.

Contemplating the various forms of governance……Plato placed democracy near the bottom.

Reality is a lie. Lying, therefore, makes this world go around. Accept it. Embrace it. Understand it fully. And most importantly, lie well and for all the right reasons.

Most of the speechifying for public consumption is distractionary and disinformative at best.

Let us say, for the sake of discussion, that there are two kinds of people in the world; Dumb and Dumber.

I detest cheap provocateurs talking bullshit.

It is theoretically possible, and generally the case that our greed surpasses our opportunities to satisfy it.

Knowledge can make you a know-it-all; Wisdom is the antidote to becoming one.

Magic unicorns are going to spout infinite quantities of magic unicorn shit to power us into the infinite future.

Since much of human thought takes place in words, as the ability to speak is diminished, so too will be the ability to think. Clearly, this is already happening,

Americans are already about as captured as they can possibly be by delusions of their own omnipotence. It’s a powerful myth, but utterly false.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes destiny.
